El Reino de Avalor es el lugar principal de la serie animada de Disney Channel, Elena de Avalor. Es un hermoso reino hogar de la Princesa Elena, su familia y amigos. Está basado en la cultura latinoamericana.

El Reino de Avalor nació hace siglos en un área que solía ser parte del Reino de Maru. Su fiesta espiritual es el Día de los Muertos. Su fiesta de invierno es la Navidad. Su capital es la ciudad de Avalor. Su cultura es mayormente latinoamericana.
Cuarenta y dos años antes de los acontecimientos en Elena and the Secret of Avalor, los padres de Elena, el Rey Raúl y la Reina Lucía, le dieron el mágico Amuleto de Avalor en su decimoquinto cumpleaños, diciéndole que la protegería de cualquier daño. Un año después, Shuriki, una malvada hechicera hambrienta de poder de las Islas del Norte, invadió Avalor y mató al Rey Raúl y a la Reina Lucía. El Mago Real de Avalor, Alacazar, conocía el hechizo que podía proteger a la princesa Isabel, Francisco y Luisa en un cuadro encantado, pero necesitaba tiempo para lanzarlo, así que Elena decidió enfrentarse a Shuriki por su cuenta. Cuarenta y un años más tarde, la princesa Sofía de Enchancia convenció a su hermana, la princesa Amber, y a otros miembros de la familia para que viajaran a Avalor para hacer un trato comercial, pero en realidad era para una misión para sacar a Elena del amuleto. El nieto de Alacazar, Mateo, y los jaquines llevaron a Sofía a un antiguo templo maruano, donde Sofía puso el amuleto y la varita en la Corona de Aziluna, y Elena fue liberada del amuleto. Con Shuriki fuera, Elena se convirtió en la nueva gobernante como hija mayor y heredera al trono, y Avalor volvió a como estaba antes de que Shuriki tomara el control.
En el episodio piloto de Elena de Avalor "First Day of Rule", el reino estaba siendo restaurado de la purga de Shuriki. Debido a que Elena no envejeció durante su encarcelamiento de cuarenta y un años, era demasiado joven para convertirse en Reina, por lo que en su lugar, se convirtió en Princesa Heredera con sus abuelos Francisco y Luisa, su nueva amiga Noemí, y su primo Esteban en el Gran Consejo. En el final de la serie, Coronation Day, Elena completa su prueba de Quita Moz que necesitaba pasar para convertirse en Reina, y es oficialmente coronada Reina de Avalor, con Isabel convirtiéndose en la Princesa heredera en lugar de Elena como heredera al trono.
