Darkwing Duck es un videojuego de 1993 producido por CAPCOM para las videoconsolas NES y Game Boy, basado en la serie de televisión animada de Disney Television Animation del mismo nombre. En este juego, una misteriosa oleada de crímenes ha golpeado a St. Canard y necesita los servicios del Pato Darkwing, un luchador contra el crimen. Steelbeak contrata a seis de los mejores enemigos de Darkwing: Quackerjack, Patolobo, Liquidador, Plantón, Megavolt y el Profesor Moliarty, para causar problemas en diferentes áreas a lo largo de San Canario. Darkwing debe luchar y detener a estos criminales con el fin de encontrar a Picacero y salvar la ciudad.
De misma forma que los videojuegos DuckTales y DuckTales 2, el juego ha sido considerado como un ejemplo de los juegos de calidad de Disney producidos por CAPCOM y el juego fue muy popular entre los adolescentes. Darkwing Duck tiene mucho en común con los juegos de Mega Man: gráficos brillantes y coloridos, control estricto del juego con una dinámica de juego única y un juego no lineal.
