Muppet Babies es una serie animada en CGI protagonizada por las versiones bebés de los personajes de los Muppets. Se estrenó en Disney Junior el 23 de Marzo de 2018. Es un reboot de la serie animada de 1984-1991 del mismo nombre.

Premisa

Anunciada para televidentes entre las edades de 4 a 7 años, cada episodio de los nuevos Muppet Babies incluirán dos historias de 11 minutos en las que los personajes usan su imaginación para "llegar a los rincones más recónditos del universo." (Algunas veces, literalmente, los Muppets han logrado ser capaz de viajar de una forma interestelar.) "Estamos orgulloso, y un poco mareados, de comenzar la producción de nuestra nueva versión de los adorados Muppet Babies," dice Nancy Kanter, Vicepresidenta Ejecutiva, Manager y Programadora Original de Disney Junior Mundial. Curiosidades

• La serie mostrará varias versiones de bebés de los Muppets clásicos incluyendo a la Rana Kermit, Miss Piggy, el Oso Fozzie, Gonzo y Animal, así como el regreso de Miss Nanny del show original e introduciendo a un nuevo personaje llamado Summer Penguin, una joven Muppet pinguina y originalmente a Bobbi Baba, una oveja Muppet. Han sido anunciadas apariciones especiales como el Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Beaker, Rufo, el Perro, El Dr. Dientes, Rizzo la Rata y Statler y Waldorf.
• No se sabe si las versiones bebés de Robin, la Rana, Scooter, Janice, Bean Bunny y Skeeter (un personaje creado para la serie original) aparecerán.
• Como en la caricatura de 1984, la cara de Nanny nunca se verá en pantalla y usualmente es vista del cuello para abajo.
