Muppet Treasure Island (Los Teleñecos en la Isla del Tesoro en español) es una película de la franquicia The Muppets distribuida por Walt Disney Pictures, estrenada el 16 de Febrero de 1996.
Historia
Jim Hawkins es un joven huérfano que, junto con sus amigos Gonzo y Rizzo, sueña con salir de su hogar y vivir aventuras.
Cuando encuentran el mapa del tesoro del Capitán Flint, hablan con el Caballero Trelawney (interpretado por el Oso Fozzie), un maestro naviero que les ayuda a formar una tripulación e ir en busca del tesoro de Flint en el barco del Capitán Smollett (interpretado por la Rana Gustavo).
Durante su estancia en el barco, Jim se hace gran amigo del cocinero, Long John Silver. Pero en realidad, Silver es el capitán de una banda de piratas formada por todos los marineros que hay a bordo, la cual es la antigua tripulación de Flint.
