PatoAventuras fue una serie animada por Disney Television Animation basada en la serie original con el mismo nombre. Fue anunciada el 25 de Febrero de 2015, diciendo que toda la nueva versión del show se estrenaría el 12 de Agosto de 2017 en Estados Unidos y el 4 de Enero de 2018 en Latinoamérica, siendo el primer show de Disney Afternoon en ser revivido o rebooteado en forma de animación.

Curiosidades

• Esta es la primera vez, desde Quack Pack en donde Hugo, Paco y Luis tienen apariencias físicas diferentes y distintos actores de voz.
• Muchas de las escenas en la canción de intro, así como los retratos en la mansión de Scrooge, están basados en las pinturas hechas por Carl Barks.
• Hugo es el único sobrino en poseer su tradicional gorra roja.
• Por primera vez en la animación, Donald Duck viste un traje de marinero negro como es visto en los cómics clasicos, Donald Duck y Uncle Scrooge por Carl Barks en vez de su usual traje azul de marinero como se ve en otras apariciones.
• Tony Anselmo, Corey Burton, Bill Farmer y Tress MacNeille son los únicos miembros del reparto de la serie original, repitiendo sus roles como Donald Duck, Ludwig Von Pato, Goofy y Daisy Duck, respectivamente.
• El co-productor Frank Angones quería incluir a Mickey Mouse en la serie, y propuso historias que podrían incluirlo o mencionarlo. Sin embargo, los ejecutivos de Disney prohibieron al equipo usar a Mickey en el show, y cualquier idea relacionada a él fue desechada.
• En la tercera temporada, en el episodio "The last adventure" se agregaron 2 nuevos personajes, Mayo y Junio que parecen ser copias de Rosita.
