La historia reimaginada tiene lugar unos días antes de Halloween cuando los amigos de 12 años Gilbert, Marshall y Amy reviven accidentalmente a una momia que descubren en el sótano de un vecino, a la que llaman cariñosamente Harold. Sin embargo, deben apresurarse a devolverlo a su lugar de descanso antes de la medianoche de Halloween. En el camino, el equipo escapa por poco de un nefasto grupo de criminales que pretenden vender la momia al mejor postor. Cuando Harold es inevitablemente capturado, Marshall, Gilbert y Amy deben unirse para hacer frente a los criminales, enfrentarse a sus miedos y rescatar a su nuevo -pero más bien "antiguo"- amigo.
La exitosa canción de China Anne McClain "Calling All the Monsters", del episodio de la A.N.T. Farm, "mutANT farm", sonó durante la fiesta de Halloween.
