Es un gato rayado de color gris con ojos verdes. El pelaje de su hocico, patas y panza es de color blanco crema. Su nariz es negra como las rayas de su pelaje y tiene bigotes finos.
El es la mascota de Goofy y Max y casi siempre se le ve atormentando a Chainsaw, el perro de Pete, quien casi siempre termina persiguiendo y asustando a Waffles. Como vecinos, ambas mascotas no suelen llevarse muy bien, aunque ambos descubren que tienen muchísimas cosas en común.
Tambien hay capítulos en donde el y Chainsaw se hacen amigos y se puede comprobar que pueden llevarse mejor.
Curiosidades
Waffles no apareció ni en A Goofy Movie ni en An Extremely Goofy Movie, lo que puede deducir dos opciones: que los productores de ambas cintas decidieron no incluir a Waffles debido a que querian enfocarse en la relacion padre e hijo de GoofyyMax Goof, o que Waffles haya fallecido porque las películas se ubican 3 y 6 años después de los eventos de La Tropa Goofy respectivamente.
