I Agree that Scar is the best Character in Lion King..., A movie is only as good as its Villain.

example Darth Vader is what makes Empire Strikes Back great. The Joker is what makes The Dark Knight great. In The Professional Gary Oldman is what makes that movie great... Any great movie must have a great villain to be good.
