I would’ve liked it if Bolt was interwoven between Bolt trying to reunite with Penny and flashbacks to show why and how he started believing the events of the show were real, rather than a sudden time skip from Penny adopting him to the producers keeping this illusion that Penny’s in danger to make Bolt’s acting more genuine. However, with the movie we got, I’d love to see them turn the in-universe Bolt TV show into an animated series. something that I'd love to see Disney do regarding it is make a spin-off television series for Disney+, where the very world of the TV show Bolt and Penny starred in was real.

Call me crazy, but I think that idea is something that holds a great amount of potential.
