Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - Doc:
Doc is a genius, and technically the leader of the dwarves, I'm more familiar with his role in The 7D compared to the original 1937 film, but he reminds me of myself, so I love him for that!
Pinocchio - The Blue Fairy:
Ah, the Blue Fairy. This might sound unusual, but I prefer Disney Fairies over Disney Princesses, I just like fairies more. Blue Fairy has such a beautiful design, she's a kind and pure soul to those around her, especially Pinocchio and Jiminy. She's like a mother figure to Pinocchio, and as one of the first Disney Fairies, she knocks it out of the park! I wish the Disney Fairy Franchise expanded beyond Peter Pan, she's so cool I can't even describe it, she's one of my favorite Disney characters of all time.
Fantasia - Yen Sid:
Note that I'm only counting characters who debuted in the film, if I didn't, then it'd be my favorite Disney character, Mickey Mouse. Anyways, Yen Sid is a serious and powerful wizard. He could easily go against Merlin and win, even though Merlin can see into the future and predict his moves. I was introduced to Yen Sid in Epic Mickey 2 where he's sort of a narrator, I like his deep and somewhat calming voice. In Fantasia, he's of course very mad that Mickey was using his sorcerer's hat to cut corners. I wish we saw more of him!
The Reluctant Dragon - Reluctant Dragon:
Not part of the canon, but I felt like mentioning the silly little dragon himself! He lives up to his name, he's reluctant to fight, and wanting to slack off. When he actually does fight, he learns to breathe fire, but we end up watching him and the knight stage a fight, which is really funny in my opinion, it caught me off-guard honestly. We need more of him! It was surreal seeing him in Who Framed Roger Rabbit!
Dumbo - Timothy:
Who could forget this selfless little mouse? He's the first person to treat Dumbo kindly after the incarceration of his mother. Timothy is the first person to see potential in Dumbo's ears instead of seeing him as a laughingstock, and it's so wholesome! Without Timothy, Dumbo would have probably resigned to his supposed fate and just have his ears pulled by the rude little children! Cheers to Timothy!
Bambi - Thumper:
Thumper is Bambi's first friend; he's a curious bunny that shows Bambi all of his forest fun. Deer are always at risk the most in the woods, and for Bambi and Thumper to see each other grow up is relieving. Thumper meets his true love, Miss Bunny, though I don't think we see her that often, but either way, he's funny, he's cute, he'd fit right in with Snow White's forest friends!
