We know that in both of the Lion King movies and the Lion Guard, that the Pride Lands are a vast, large area of land. What I am wondering is if the kingdom has an exact shape?

Is the kingdom more circular or more like a square shaped kingdom? Or, is it too hard to know the exact shape of the land? Is the kingdom more rounded, and not a perfect circle or square or close to a circle, but not a perfect Circle?

Personally, I believe that the kingdom is either circular or square shaped. It's hard to know. I tend to lead to more circular shaped due to the Circle of Life and the interconnectedness of the animals in the kingdom.

What do you think the shape of the Pride Lands is? Or, is it impossible to know the exact shape of the kingdom?

In the Lion King and the Lion Guard, we are told that the Pride Lands is bordered by the Outlands, the Desert, the Back Lands, and the Theluji Mountains. What we were not told was which region is on what border. I am assuming that since Pride Rock is facing east, that the desert is on the western border because Simba is running away in the direction of the setting sun. What I am not sure about are the other regions.

Watching the Lion King movies and the Lion Guard tv show, we are told that the Pride Lands is a vast, large kingdom that is ruled by a local pride of lions. Also, this kingdom is said to hold many different diverse types of animal species.

What we are not told is how big is the kingdom when it comes to square miles? I know that a typical lion pride's territory is 100 square miles. I always felt that the Pride Lands should be larger than that. I am just not sure how much larger.

After recently watching the Black Panther movies, I have always wondered what the Pride Lands might look like as a tribal animal kingdom in a modern animal world? Mainly, how would the kingdom be structured when it comes to tribal territories?

Please comment below your thoughts on how you think this society would work in the Pride Lands as a tribal kingdom like Wakanda. Would the kingdom have a capital city and tribal regions/provinces? And, if so, how would these provinces work? Who would rule them? How could you have a social network between the city population and the tribal regions populations?

How would the Pride Lands look like if it was a tribal kingdom? How would you layout the tribal territories? Also, this world would be filled with anthropomorphic evolved animals who rule different territories.

We know that Simba and Nala have Zazu and Rafiki as employees of the monarchy as the majordomo and the royal majuzi. However, I have always wondered who else is part of their royal court or council.

We know that each animal herd, flock, etc has it's own leader/representative, but we don't know if they are also part of the King and Queen's royal court or council, or just lead their own herds and work with the rulers.

Also, we don't know what role the lionesses play in the government. It's possible that they are the King and Queen's royal council that helps them in matters of state, besides hunting and protecting their territory.

I had recently read an article that had talked about the possibility of the pridelands as an modern animal kingdom like zootopia or wakanda. I liked what the article had said.

I was just wondering what are your thoughts about what the pridelands society would look like if the predators didnt have to hunt and the prey didn't have to graze? Comment below your thoughts.
