A música deveria ser usada em Mary Poppins para a sequência da bússola, mas foi cortada da versão final.
Entre 1977 e 1978 na Disneyland e no Magic Kingdom do Walt Disney World, uma unidade Beautiful Briny Deep baseada nesta cena do filme apareceu no Main Street Electrical Parade. Um dos carros alegóricos apresentava os Briny Boys tocando uma variação diferente da ponte instrumental da música na frente de uma baleia. Foi ouvida junto com a música "A Bit Bubbly" da unidade, esta última feita exclusivamente para o desfile.
A música foi usada como inspiração para Alan Menken enquanto escrevia "Under the Sea". Isso foi confirmado mais tarde durante um evento Disney D23 que contou com a participação dele e Richard M. Sherman e suas composições.
