"(You Ain't) Home on the Range" is the opening song in Disney's Home on the Range and sung by an off-screen chorus.
Plot[]
Throughout the song, it introduces Lucky Jack exploring the world around while escaping from a hungry coyote while getting caught by a stagecoach following a herd of longhorn cattle being rounded up by cowboys. After bouncing on the cattle, Luck Jack ends up landing onto a nest of cactus owls in which Jack was able to escape the owls while trying to find shelter. He then hides into a cattle skull only to find a rattlesnake hiding in it as the rattlesnake attempts to eat him to which Jack manages to escape from the rattlesnake offscreen by taking it off his head. The song then ends with Sheriff Sam Brown riding on Buck putting a "Wanted" poster of Alameda Slim.
A reprise of the song is played after the cows and their new friend Lucky Jack take off for Echo Mine.
