The 110th Street Gang is a criminal gang featured in the animated series, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Lonnie Lincoln joins the gang after learning his younger brother, Andre, is a member and offers to take his place. Benjimin Donovan was the original leader of the gang before abandoning the members when Scorpion showed up, and Lincoln succeeded him as the group leader.
History[]
Lonnie learnt that his younger brother Andre was a member after their mother was informed by the police that he and the 110 had been vandalising the local area. Disappointed in his brother, Lonnie went to the handout of the gang and tried to get his brother to leave, but the leader Big Donovan blackmailed Lonnie into taking Andre's place in the gang, which he agreed.
Over time although Lonnie disliked being a member since they vandalised places and caused trouble, he was unable to leave the gang whenever he had to go to football practice or was a school, generally. Lonnie tried to reason with Big Donovan about this as he cared about football and his education, although Donovan and the other members didn't care. Since Lonnie spends all his time with the gang, his school performance depleets and he is kicked off of the football team as a result.
Lonnie's girlfriend Pearl Pangan becomes concerned for him as he is keeping the fact that he is a member of the gang, a secret from her and is not spending time with her like he used to. While working on a school project with Peter Parker, she receives a message from Lonnie's brother Andre, who is also worried for Lonnie. From the text, Pearl locates the 110th Street Gang hideout and learns that Lonnie is a member. She tries to get him to leave, but the headquarters is suddenly ambushed by the Scorpion, who Spider-Man confronts, although he is almost killed as a result.
The following day or two, Pearl tries to talk Lonnie out of being part of the gang as she considers them very dangerous, but he won't do so because they saved his life and have been supportive of him. Believing Lonnie has changed for the worse, Pearl breaks up with him and he returns to the hideout, where Big Donovan gives him the new nickname, Tombstone, which Lonnie likes.
Shortly after being given the new nickname, Lonnie and the members decide to steal from Oscorp. However, the Scorpion returns with his gang and the 110 decides to fight them, but things get worse when the members are almost killed by the Scorpion and Lonnie tries to convince him to do something as their men are getting seriously hurt. Donovan is then tackled by the Scorpion who almost kills him. Caring more about himself more than the group, Big Donovan quits the gang and abandons them, escaping the scene. Tombstone tries to get Donovan back, but he leaves in his car, leaving Lonnie to take charge of the situation. Spider-Man appears at the scene and attempts to face the Scorpion once again while Lonnie looks for something that might help. However, Lonnie is surrounded by gas from one of the weapons and inhales it, which gives him superpowers such as superhuman strength and agility. While the other members are knocked out, Lonnie and Spider-Man work together to fight the Scorpion, who is almost killed by Spider-Man as revenge for the villain doing the same to him, before Lonnie is able to prevent the hero doing something he may regret. Spider-Man lets the Scorpion live and leaves him to be arrested by the police while Lonnie and Spider-Man congratulate each other on winning the fight.
At sometime after the near-fatal battle, Lonnie has decided to drop-out of high school to officially be the new leader of the 110th Street Gang and relocates the gang's hideout to an unknown location.
