- Walt Disney travels to Europe and obtains European illustrations to define the look of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
- September - Adriana Caselotti is chosen to voice Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
- December 13 - Story meeting for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs:
- The dwarfs will sing a peppy and happy song to Snow White.
- A novelty tune called "Mickey's Son and Daughter" written by Tommie Connor and Eddie Lisbona is released on vinyl record with sheet music.
- Performed by the BBC Dance Orchestra and Henry Hall with vocals by Dan Donovan, the song celebrates the birth of twins to Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
