"1 True Love" is a song that is featured in the 2022Disney•Pixar animated feature film, Turning Red. It is one of the three songs performed by Mei Lee's favorite band, 4★Town.
A music video for the song was released exclusively on Disney+ on December 28, 2022 before getting a public release the following day. The video focuses on Tyler Nguyen-Baker and serves as a loose prequel, and semi-midquel, of sorts to the movie and is animated in an anime-influenced style.
The video starts with Mei showing her 4★Town poster to her friends, only for Tyler to come and crumple the poster and throw it away. As the girls angrily leave, Tyler runs over to the trash and digs for the poster, secretly admiring it. It is revealed that, similar to Mei, he keeps a 4★Town shrine underneath his bed. He is next seen going to the store to get the new 4★Town album, only for Mei and her friends to come and buy the last one. Tyler is saddened, but the next day at school, he hides under the bleachers and spies on the girls. He steals the 4★Town album and runs off to examine it, but when he opens the casing, discovers that the CD is missing.
During the credits (which can only be seen on the Disney+ version), the scene from the film where Tyler is discovered at the 4★Town concert by the girls is recreated.
