The boys discover that their favorite childhood cartoon-star is down on his luck, so they try to cheer him up.

- 90's Adventure Bear's TV show is a parody of the shows TaleSpin and Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, both of which were popular in the 1990s and are part of The Disney Afternoon. The characters seen within the show are based off of characters from both series.
- Nineties himself is based off of Baloo.
- Zip Skyboard is a parody of Kit Cloudkicker.
- Yuk-Yuk the orangutan is inspired by Louie.
- Goober the fruit bat is based on Zipper.
- Jumpkick the lemur is an homage to Gadget Hackwrench.
- Major Manslaughter, Nineties' nemesis, is a spoof of Don Karnage.
- 90's Adventure Bear's rant about his show's lack of a DVD release can be seen as a joke about the barebones and mostly incomplete DVD releases of many Disney Afternoon shows.
