"A Commitment to All Things Cozy" is the sixth episode of season two of the Disney+ streaming television series The Mysterious Benedict Society and the fourteenth episode of the series overall. It was released on November 23, 2022.
Synopsis[]
The Society splits up to escape an attack. Number Two and Mr. Benedict plot against Dr. Curtain.
Plot[]
Just as Dr. Garrison and her mercenaries have the kids surrounded, Rhonda arrives and incapacitates everyone. A trio of Gray Men arrive, but they are taken out by the unexpected arrival of Ms. Perumal and Milligan. Dr. Garrison reveals where Dr. Curtain's compound is before fleeing from more Gray Men. The group decide to split up with Martina, Kate and Milligan get away in the van, Reynie and Rhonda escape on the motorcycle, while Ms. Perumal allows herself to be captured as Sticky and Constance somehow manage to get away on a chicken truck. After Mr. Benedict watches Dr. Curtain training his young protégé Auguste, he returns to Number Two who reveals the plan on how they are going to bring Dr. Curtain with them, but Mr. Benedict looks unsure.
Kate and Milligan have an argument over how they have been treating one another while Martina tells them that she has a plan. After their motorcycle runs out of gas, Rhonda has Reynie finally lose his temper so that he can vent over what has happened recently. Sticky and Constance are dropped off and encounter a immobile man (possibly a victim of Dr. Curtain's method) before arriving at an inn run by Yannis and Sofia who show them kind hospitality. After Jeffers informs Dr. Curtain about the capture of Ms. Perumal, Jackson and Jillson finally inform of about the immobile members, but is in denial that it has anything to do with his happiness method.
Kate and Milligan continue to argue as Martina tries to get them to work together to rescue their friends. As they survey the compound, Martina tells Kate that her father is simply trying to understand her. As she goes in, Kate and Milligan make up as Rhonda and Reynie arrive. At the inn, Constance insults Yannis and Sofia's baking, saddening them and angering Sticky who was hoping that they could potentially give them a ride. After everyone leaves, Constance turns on the TV to Dr. Curtain who shows off the method and converts Constance. When Yannis and Sofia return, she is now much more endearing to them, much to Sticky's confusion, but is elated that she wants to hear about Boatwright. However, when Constance calls Sticky by his nickname, he becomes suspicious. They are immediately captured by the Gray Men.
As Mr. Benedict invites Dr. Curtain to have some tea (which is to be laced to knock him out), Martina comes to visit Jackson and Jillson who are upset over her betrayal and reveal that she is wanted for stealing the van, but she feigns wanting forgiveness. They hug and Martina steals their keys. She passes them on to the group before revealing that she needs to leave so that her crime does not get worse. Mr. Benedict and Dr. Curtain are having tea together when Number Two slides in the drug. Just as Mr. Benedict tries stalling, Number Two answers the door to find Auguste who proceeds to perform the happiness method on Number Two.

Book comparisons[]
- In the series, Sticky and Kate meet Danish couple Yanis and Sofia. In the book, the children meet a Danish librarian named Sofie.
- In the book, the children go to a hotel in Holland where they meet the friendly Hubrecht and shifty Daatje who aid them in getting their clue. In the series, Stick and Kate wind up at an inn and meet Yanis and Sofia who are very friendly to the two of them.
