"A Gummi's Work is Never Done" is the forty-ninth episode of the Adventures of the Gummi Bears. It premiered on September 10, 1990, and is the first episode of the sixth and final season.

Plot

Grammi and Gruffi decide to trade their usual chores to find out who has the easier job.

Meanwhile, Toadie and Igthorn discover blueprints for an ancient Gummi Bear logging machine, but they need a Gummi to build it for them, leading to another hunt for the bears.

• Internationally, the sixth season follows a slightly different order (likely following the intended production order more closely).
• Igthorn's Defeat: He and Toadwart get tossed from the Gummi logging machine after Gruffi and Grammi sabotage and dismantle it. Igthorn even gets his beard shaved clean off by one of the blades.
