- This is the first episode of the show animated exclusively by the Tokyo-based studio Walt Disney Animation Japan, Inc. The reason for it to go relatively unnoticed, stylistically, is because the studio itself was spun off from TMS Entertainment, the studio that was responsible for animating the first four seasons. For the sixth and final season, animation duties were distributed among several different studios, which resulted in noticeable style changes.
- Igthorn's Defeat: Gets jabbed in the rump when Dexter's tonic causes thorny bushes to grow under him.
