"A Magical Achoo!" is the first segment of the twenty-second upcoming episode of Ariel. It was first made available on Disney+ on March 12, 2025 alongside "Are We There Yet?" before making its television premiere on April 11, 2025.[1]
Plot[]
Ariel is playing checkers with her doll Naeema when Lucia arrives, mentioning that Ursula will teach her a brand new spell today. Ariel decides to come, as she loves watching Lucia learn new things. Meanwhile, Fernie and Flounder are having some quiet time when Ariel and Lucia arrive and tell them about the new magic trick. Fernie and Flounder decide to continue their quiet time.
Ursula is getting everything organized when she sneezes. Ariel and Lucia arrive, and Ursula continues to sneeze. Ariel tells her to rest, like King Triton suggested. Ursula claims she's hungry and makes a plate of seaghetti and kelpballs. However, she sneezes again, making confetti. Ariel and Lucia agree that Ursula needs to rest. Later, Ursula teaches Lucia a shrinking spell. Ursula tests it on a pearl, but she sneezes, making the spell go wrong and making the pearl grow. It rolls all over the room before heading out.
As Fernie and Flounder continue their quiet time, the pearl rolls over them. Ariel tells Ursula to rest, but Ursula rejects the advice. Ursula decides to shrink a book, but she sneezes again, making the book slime. Lucia tells Ursula to rest, but Ursula rejects and decides to shrink a potion bottle. However, she sneezes again, despite her sea creatures preventing that from happening. As a result, Ursula is stuck in the bottle. Ursula should've listened to Ariel and Lucia about resting when sick.
Lucia decides to try something else, and Ursula mentions that she needs to undo the shrinking spell, although she's never learned it. Ursula tells Lucia to think about the parts of the spell she taught her before she sneezed. For the spell to work, the right ingredients have to be added and the right words have to be said. Ariel and Ursula believe in Lucia. Ariel and Lucia recap the spell that made the pearl big and decide to do the spell the same way to make Ursula big again. It works, and Ursula congratulates Lucia while telling her she'll be a great mergician someday. Ursula then goes to rest and thanks Ariel and Lucia for reminding her that even she can still get sick. The pearl then rolls past Fernie and Flounder before Ursula sneezes again.
