A highlight of Plaza de la Familia featuring an entertaining group of storytellers and original songs from “Coco” in a performance of dance and music. The singing host Mateo is joined by an ensemble of baile folklórico dancers and Mariachi Divas (Fantasyland Troubadour for Hong Kong Disneyland), bringing to vibrant life three of the film’s enchanting songs. Beginning in 2018 in the California Adventure version, Miguel makes his debut in the attraction where he sings "Un Poco Loco" in English followed by him singing a snippet of "Proud Corazón" at the end of the show.
In addition to daily performances, guests will also enjoy authentic Mariachi music, the World of Coco exhibit, a Tree of Life interactive photo location and a delicious all-new menu of Mexican foods. Plaza de la Familia is inspired by the beautiful tradition of Día de los Muertos that celebrates loved ones who have passed and honors the familial bonds that last forever. Unlike Disney California Adventure, Hong Kong Disneyland only includes face painting and making decorative Mexican paper banners known as papel picado.
