"A Zoo to a Thrill" is the second segment of the sixth episode of Special Agent Oso. It premiered on May 2, 2009 alongside "Three Wheels Are Not Enough".
Plot[]
Oso is being trained to find a disc hidden behind a painting. He tries remembering how to get the disc as it comes out of the slot. However, after pressing the eject button, the disc falls through a laser grid and sets off the alarm, causing a fan trap to spin him around and around in circles. That's when Paw Pilot calls in a special alert after Wolfie comes down and flips a switch to shut down the lasers, turn off the alarm, and stop the fan trap from spinning Oso out. He helps a girl named Joon-Kim feed a llama at a petting zoo before it along with the whole County Fair closes.
Trivia[]
- The episode's title is a reference to the James Bond film A View to a Kill.
- Oso being trained to find a disc hidden behind a painting before it falls through the laser grid and inadvertently trips an alarm is basically a reference to Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible, where he is hanging on a rope and must steal the disc containing vital information in the CIA Headquarters.
- Mostly shown in movies, criminals or a protagonist break through museums or secret hideouts to steal information. The fan Oso is tied to and inadvertently activates is basically that if a criminal or a spy where to access the building by roof, he put the hook on the fan but while trying to steal a painting or activate the code, the fan would activate and trip the alarm, and would alert security guards to mobilize an arrest after spinning out.
- This episode and "Three Wheels Are Not Enough" aired the same day the series premiered in Australia and New Zealand.
