Aasif Mandvi (born March 5, 1966) is an Indian-American actor and comedian who is known for his work as a correspondent on the Comedy Central late-night satirical program The Daily Show since 2006.
He played Mohammed in the 1996 Hollywood Pictures film, Eddie, Bob Spaulding in the 2009 Touchstone Pictures film The Proposal, and Ash Vasudevan in the 2014 Disney biographical film, Million Dollar Arm. He also voiced Pirate Pharaoh in Jake and the Never Land Pirates. He will voice King Raja in Elena of Avalor.
