"Abuelita's World" is the second segment of the ninth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Hamster & Gretel.
Synopsis[]
When Kevin and Gretel’s grandmother comes to look after them, she lays down a strict set of rules. Meanwhile, a giant baby is destroying the city, and they must figure out how to stop him.
Plot[]
Dave and Carolina leave Hamster, Kevin, and Gretel at home with Abuelita while they visit a plumber's convention for the weekend. However, Abuelita proves to be excessively strict when she forbids Kevin and Gretel from using their cellphones and has them doing chores nonstop. When Fred stops by to ask Kevin and Gretel why they are not answering their phones, Abuelita closes the door on her, telling her that Kevin is not allowed to have girls over; however, she manages to tell them to watch the news. They do this after Kevin puts Abuelita to sleep by feeding her flan, and the three learn that Bob Infantiburg, a giant baby-turned mayoral campaign loser, is attacking the city. However, their efforts are complicated when Abuelita insists that she go with them downtown.
When the heroes arrive to the scene, Abuelita confronts Infantiburg for terrorizing the city, only to be picked up by him and carried off to the top of a skyscraper. To avoid harming Abuelita, Gretel―through Kevin's guidance―distracts Infantiburg by using a giant maraca as a baby rattle, rescues Abuelita, and places Infantiburg in a makeshift crib. Hamster and Gretel then mistakenly reveal their superhero identities to Abuelita when they save her from being crushed by a bus. Abuelita reassures her grandchildren that they did the right thing by breaking her rules for the sake of saving the city and promises to keep their identities a secret from Dave and Carolina.
