Adam Douglas Driver is an American film, TV, and stage actor. One of his best known roles is Adam Sackler in the HBO comedy-drama series Girls. He also played Phillip Altman in the 2014 comedy This is Where I Leave You. Other roles include Detective Philip "Flip" Zimmerman in Spike Lee's 2018 biographical black-comedy crime film BlacKkKlansman, which earned him a Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, and Charlie Barber in Noah Baumbach's 2019 Netflix-distributed independent drama film Marriage Story, for which he received a nomination for Academy Award for Best Actor.
His Disney roles include Samuel Beckwith in the 2012 Touchstone Pictures live-action film Lincoln and Ben Solo/Kylo Ren in the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which earned him the 2016 MTV Movie Award for Best Villain. He reprised the role in the video game LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, in the 2017 film Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and the 2019 film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. He also played Jacques Le Gris in the 2021 20th Century Studios film The Last Duel.
