Adam Lyons Schlesinger was an American songwriter, composer, and record producer, who, for Disney, composed one song for "Dream House", an episode of Good Luck Charlie guest starring Kermit, Fozzie, Animal, and Miss Piggy. He also composed the song "Did I Mention", for the movie Descendants.

Schlesinger was born in New York City on October 31, 1967 and attended Montclair High School in the latter. He received a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. He was also well known as the founder, lead singer, and bassist for the bands: Fountains of Wayne, Ivy, and Tinted Windows.

In addition to writing and co-producing the title song to That Thing You Do!, Schlesinger composed "Master of the Seas" for Ice Age: Continental Drift as well as writing and producing three songs for Music and Lyrics. His music has also been featured in films, like Shallow Hal, Robots, There's Something About Mary, Me, Myself & Irene, Josie and the Pussycats, Scary Movie, The Manchurian Candidate (2004), Because of Winn-Dixie, Orange County, Venom, and Two Weeks Notice.

For his work, Schlesinger has won several Emmy and Grammy Awards. He was also nominated for Oscars, Tonys, and Golden Globes. He was even a winner of the ASCAP Pop Music Award.

Schlesinger died in 2020 due to complications from COVID-19.
