On April 12, 2024 (Disneyland Paris' 32nd anniversary) in the wake of Walt Disney Studios Park being renamed to "Disney Adventure World", it was announced that a new themed "land" titled "Adventure Way" would be built within the park as part of its major expansion in order to coincide the name change to the opening of the World of Frozen at the park. In addition to the promenade itself being announced, it was also announced that the new themed "land" would include a 70,000 manmade lake known as "Adventure Bay", which would serve as the gateway to themed lands around it, including the Frozen-themed land World of Frozen. It was also announced that the new area would include a restaurant titled "The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge", a land themed after the Disney Princess franchise as well as a new attraction titled "Raiponce Tangled Spin", a spinning ride themed after Tangled. It was also announced that the lake would include an environment stage with a 360-degree viewing area which would be ideal with the latest technology for entertainment.[1]
