"Adventures in Trollsitting" is the first part of the sixth episode of American Dragon: Jake Long.
Plot[]
The episode starts off with Jake sleeping when he is suddenly awakened by a troll. Jake goes downstairs and says, "Mom said never to let strange magical creatures in the house," but he has to let him in because he is the American Dragon and has to protect all magical creatures. Jake asks the troll who he has to protect him from, and the troll says Jake has to protect him from the sun. Jake lets him in and hides him in the room.
Later, Jake's mother Susan and father Jonathan are going to pick up his aunt, Patchouli, but right after they have left, Patchouli arrives at the house. Jake tries to distract her in order to hide the troll, to no avail, and she goes to take a shower in the bathroom, where the troll is hiding. Jake talks loudly to give the troll a hint and he hides. As Patchouli takes a shower, the troll hides in the toilet. At the same time, Jake's parents come home and he tells his sister, Haley, to hide the troll, but nothing can stop all the noise. They all go upstairs and Haley hides the troll in her room. Susan notices that the troll is there, but Patchouli goes in thinking that they are hiding something from her, but it seems that the troll is her college friend Stan Lipkowski, and they leave for their date.
Etymology[]
