"Ahoy, Captain Smee!" is the first segment of the forty-eighth episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on April 19, 2013 alongside "Cap'n Croak!", and is the first segment of the twenty-third episode in the second season.
Plot[]
On the Jolly Roger, Mr. Smee warns Captain Hook about an upcoming coral reef. Captain Hook is busy having his tea, and as a result, the ship crashes into the reef, causing it to sink. Captain Hook then heads to the dinghy with Sharky and Bones, and Mr. Smee states that according to the Pirate Code, a captain always goes down with his ship. As a result, Captain Hook gives up his title as captain to Mr. Smee, and wishes him luck. However, the Jolly Roger continues to sink.
Meanwhile, Jake and his crew are on a treasure hunt for the lost treasure of Captain Loon Doubloon when Bones tells them to wave goodbye to Captain Smee. They notice the Jolly Roger sinking, and they decide to help him. Captain Smee then tells the problem, and Jake and his crew are there to help. Izzy then uses her Pixie Dust to lift the Jolly Roger out of the sea. In its hull, Captain Smee notices a hole there, and plugs it with sacks of tea, which should keep the ship afloat until he can fix it for good.
While Jake and his crew go back aboard Bucky, Hook praises Captain Smee for taking care of the Jolly Roger. He tells him to hand over the hat, but Captain Smee states that he is still the captain. Hook is shocked by this, and orders Captain Smee to walk the plank when Bones states that Captain Smee should do the same thing to Hook. Jake then asks Captain Smee if he wants to join the Never Land treasure hunt. He likes the idea, and decides to join. Hook reluctantly accepts, as well.
They soon come across Wave Rock, and Jake and his crew steer Bucky around it. Meanwhile, Hook and Captain Smee are squabbling over a white bedsheet when Bones warns them about Wave Rock. As Captain Smee turns the Jolly Roger, Hook falls off the ship. On Never Land, Jake and Hook's crew are following the paths to the treasure, and they have to cross Bubbling Burp Bog, which is called that way because when its bubbles pop, they burp, making everyone laugh. So, they cover their ears to get across and continue searching for the treasure.
Later, Captain Smee sees an "X" formed by two rivers, which is where the treasure is located. He is excited for the treasure when Jake tells him to look out, but he sets off a booby trap, which causes a sinkhole. Everyone then gets a grip on something, but Izzy is unable to reach her Pixie Dust. Hook then returns, deciding to save the treasure when Captain Smee tells him otherwise. Hook is against the idea, but eventually saves Captain Smee, followed by everyone else.
Captain Smee thanks Hook for the help, and gives up his command as Captain to Hook while stating that being captain is about taking responsibility, which is what Hook just did. Everyone then praises Captain Hook before he retrieves the treasure of Captain Loon Doubloon. It is divided into eight pizza-like pieces, one for everyone. Skully proclaims that pirates love pizzas-of-eight, and everyone laughs.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Since the pizza-slice pieces of the treasure made Cubby hungry, he, Jake, and Izzy have an extra large pineapple, kiwi, jicama, pomegranate pizza. Back on the Jolly Roger, Captain Hook states it's good to be back in command of the ship. Sharky and Bones arrive, wondering what they should do with the soggy sacks of tea. The ship then sinks, and everyone heads in the dinghy while Captain Hook gives up his role as Captain to Bones, and wishes him luck. As the Jolly Roger continues to sink, Bones decides to have an all-he-can-eat-ice-cream feast with his best mates invited.
