Aimee Veronica Carrero is an Dominican Republic-born American actress and voice actress. She is best known for her role as Angie Prietto in the Cartoon Network live-action series Level Up. From 2014-2018, she starred as Sofia Rodriguez on the ABC Family/Freeform sitcom Young & Hungry. Freeform has announced that she will star in an upcoming spin-off tentatively titled "Young & Sofia", opposite Ashley Tisdale as her new boss. In the end, however, the series was not picked up. She also voiced Adora/She-Ra in the DreamWorks animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power under Netflix from 2018-2020.
In November 2015, she got engaged to actor Tim Rock, and the two were married in August 2016.
For Disney, she voiced Princess Elena in Sofia the First and its spin-off series, Elena of Avalor. She also played Mia in an episode of Hannah Montana and Tasha in the Zeke and Luther episode "Skater Girl Island".
