Aimee Veronica Carrero is an Dominican Republic-born American actress. She is best known for her role as Angie Prietto in the Cartoon Network live-action series Level Up. From 2014-2018, she starred as Sofia Rodriguez on the ABC Family/Freeform sitcom Young & Hungry. Freeform has announced that she will star in an upcoming spin-off tentatively titled "Young & Sofia", opposite Ashley Tisdale as her new boss. In the end, however, the series was not picked up. She also voiced Princess Adora/She-Ra in the DreamWorks animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power under Netflix.
In November 2015, she got engaged to actor Tim Rock, and the two were married on August 2016.
For Disney, she voiced Princess Elena in Sofia the First and its spin-off series, Elena of Avalor. She also played Mia in an episode of Hannah Montana and Tasha in the Zeke and Luther episode "Skater Girl Island".
