Alan Wolf Arkin is an American actor, director, musician, and singer who is well known for his roles in the films: The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming, Wait Until Dark, The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter, Catch-22, The In-Laws, Edward Scissorhands, Glengarry Glen Ross, Thirteen Conversations About One Thing, Little Miss Sunshine, for which he garnered an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and was subsequently nominated in the same category for Argo.

For Disney, he played Peevy in the 1991 Disney period superhero adventure film The Rocketeer, Dr. Oatman in Grosse Pointe Blank, Bud Newman in The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, the Muppet Studios tour guide in The Muppets, Ray Poitevint in Million Dollar Arm, "Uncca" Lou Handler in the 1993 Touchstone Pictures film, Indian Summer, Ernie Lazzaro in the 1995 Touchstone Pictures film, The Jerky Boys, and J. Griffin Remington in the 2019 version of Dumbo, and made a guest appearance on The Muppet Show in episode 420.
