Alan Douglas Ruck is an American film and TV actor and voice actor. He is probably best known for his role as Cameron Frye in the 1986 John Hughes comedy Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Stuart Bondek in the Paramount/ABC sitcom Spin City. He has also starred in many other films such as Three Fugitives, Speed, Twister, and Cheaper by the Dozen. Recently, he starred as Henry Rance in the NBC drama series The Exorcist.

For Disney, he voiced Herb the nobleman and Herb the Hedgehog in the Sofia the First episodes "All the Sprite Moves" and "Sofia in Elvenmoor" respectively.
