Alexandre Dumas was a French writer, best known for his historical novels of high adventures who is best famous for his The Three Musketeers which has adapted twice by Disney: the 1993 film by the same name and Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers. Dumas' Three Musketeers also have been spoofed by Disney characters, like Huey, Dewey, and Louie in the DuckTales episode "Duck in the Iron Mask" and Genie. It has also been featured in Once Upon a Time.
In the DuckTales episode "Duck in the Iron Mask", all three of Dumas' classics: The Three Musketeers, The Count of Monte Cristo, and The Man in the Iron Mask were used. Count Roy being the Duck in the Iron Mask (The Man in the Iron Mask), Count Roy being the Count of Monte Duma (The Count of Monte Cristo) and Huey, Dewey, and Louie being the Three Musketeers, along with Scrooge McDuck, Launchpad McQuack, and Count Roy saying "All for One and One for All."
His other novel, The Count of Monte Cristo, was adapted into the 2002 Touchstone Pictures film of the same name and in Once Upon a Time.
