Alistair Goodspeed is a minor antagonist in the Disney Channel Original Series Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, who appears in the episode "Potions Eleven". He framed Justin Russo for the unicorn incident by hexing his wand which caused Justin to get fired from WizTech because he was jealous of Justin. After the unicorn incident, he replaced Justin Russo and became the new Headmaster of WizTech.
Biography[]
Between 2012-2024, Alistair worked with Justin Russo at WizTech and quickly grew jealous of Justin, so hexed his wand on graduation. Alistair caused Justin to cause chaos and lead to him being fired. After Justin got fired, Alistair took over as headmaster. Later in the episode, Billie and Roman went inside Justin's mind to find out the truth about being fired. There they learnt that Alistair had hexed Justin's wand to get him fired, and he sensed the memory, therefore he appeared in front of them before being defeated.

Justin is Alistair's enemy. Alistair grew jealous of Justin so hexed his wand on graduation day to cause him from failing to protect the students. Alistair erased Justin's memory of the whole thing so he wouldn't remember he had framed him, until the truth was revealed 15 years later.
Billie Russo[]
Billie is Alistair's enemy. Billie was the one who revealed the truth about Alistair framing Justin and managed to help Justin remember he was framed.
Roman Russo[]
Roman is Alistair's enemy, who asked Alistair why he framed Justin, leading Alistair to threaten Roman until he let Billie deal with it.

- Alistair's actor previously appeared in the original series episode "Wizard for a Day", but as a different character.
- Alistair wears a cloak with red on parts of it, which is the same as the Griffindor house colors in Harry Potter. The Wizards franchise has parodied the fantasy book and film series many times.
