"All I Want" is sung by the Hall Johnson Choir toward the climax of the film, Song of the South. It is heard after Johnny is seriously injured by a bull in his attempt to stop Uncle Remus from leaving. The song is faintly sung by the farmhands as they wait outside the house.
Lyrics[]
Mmm, mmm mmm mmm.
(More and more faith in Him!)
He made all the stars
And the moon and the sun.
(More and more faith in Him!)
He numbers the sparrows
That fall, every one.
(More and more faith in Him!)
(My Savior!)
All I want, all I want,
All I want, more and more faith in Him!
(My Savior!)
All I want, all I want,
All I want is more and more faith in Him!
Angel, have mercy on this little child.
(More and more faith in Him!)
He's only been here
Such a mighty little while.
(More and more faith in Him!)
Mmm, mmm mmm mmm.
