American Dragon: Jake Long, Attack of the Dark Dragon (titled simply American Dragon: Jake Long on some regions) is a video game for the Nintendo DS, based on the animated TV series American Dragon: Jake Long.
Gameplay[]
Attack of the Dark Dragon lets players take control of Jake, who must punch and kick his way through an onslaught of villains to save Rose from the clutches of the Dark Dragon. American Dragon — Attack of the Dark Dragon boasts five distinct worlds with more than twenty levels to play. When Jake transforms into the American Dragon, players can release dragon fire, perform jump attacks, whip with a tail swipe, and take flight in 3D with up to four friends in wireless mode.
Hidden statues[]
An alternate ending will be unlocked if the player collects ten tokens, the tokens are hidden inside statues of the Huntsman across the game.

| 3-4 | Immediately after picking up the orange gem, pass the orange platforms to a ledge with a charger. Drop off the right side to land on a platform with the statue. |
| 4-1 | Shortly after getting the purple gem, you'll encounter a stretch of orange platforms. To the right is a ledge with the statue, reachable by: Hovering with your dragon or by climbing up the platforms and dropping down from the ledge above. |

The statue is on a crate above the second checkpoint and can be reached by two paths: After climbing the ship, navigate a gauntlet of blue platforms and hover right on a red shipping crate or past the second checkpoint, use the gauntlet of blue platforms (used to get the orange gem) and hover left back to the checkpoint. |
| 5-2 | After getting the purple gem, drop down the pit and go left to a crate that can be destroyed with the fire spell. The statue is just past this crate. |
| 5-4 | After the second checkpoint, you'll find a gauntlet of rotating wheels. Jump on the first one, ride it to the top, then jump off to the left to reach a ledge with the final statue. |
Critical reception[]
On the internet, the game received a score of 6.5 out of 10 from IGN, and an 8.5 of 10 from GameSpot's aggregation of web reviews.
