Amy Lou Adams (born August 20, 1974) is an Italian-born American actress, voice actress, and singer who has received several Academy Award nominations. She was named one of 100 most influential people by Time magazine in 2014 and is among the highest-paid actresses in the world. She has won two Golden Globe Awards, one academy award and has been nominated for five Academy Awards, and six BAFTA Awards.
For Disney, she portrayed Giselle in the 2007 fantasy film, Enchanted and the upcoming sequel Disenchanted, Mary in the 2011 musical comedy film, The Muppets, and Anna Fox in the 2020 Fox film, The Woman in the Window. She also voiced Sweet Polly Purebred in the 2007 live-action film, Underdog. She was even mentioned in an episode of Dog with a Blog.

Adams has recorded several songs for the soundtrack of Enchanted, including "True Love's Kiss", "Happy Working Song", and "That's How You Know".
She performed Happy Working Song at the 2008 Academy Awards.
