Synopsis[]
Things go terribly wrong at a movie premiere.
Plot[]
Kevin has been given a ticket to see an early screening of a new Larry the Magic Boy movie courtesy of Fred, who works at the movie theater as a ticket taker. However, his plans to see the movie with Hiromi are foiled at Carolina's insistence to bring Gretel and Bailey along. While there, Kevin wonders if Hiromi shares his romantic feelings towards her. Meanwhile, villain Arthouse plots to trap everyone in the theater and force them to watch his foreign film.
Kevin and Gretel leave the theater to purchase concessions, where Kevin laments to Fred that he is foolish for thinking he was on a date with Hiromi. They then find everyone trapped in the theater and suffering through Arthouse's movie (with the exception of Hamster, who enjoys it). Kevin and Gretel confront Arthouse in the projector room, who promptly creates holographic duplicates of himself and ambushes them. Gretel quickly figures out which is the real Arthouse, only to be trapped along with Kevin in film with Arthouse setting his projector to self-destruct mode. The duo are able to escape when Gretel's heat vision melts the butter spilled all over Kevin's shirt due to an earlier mishap with popcorn. The battle moves into the screening room, where Arthouse threatens to smash the theater's only copy of the Larry the Magic Boy movie, but Hamster Kevin and Hiromi manage to save it while Gretel saves the theater from exploding and Hamster takes Arthouse to the police, but not before complimenting his work, giving Arthouse composure over someone appreciating his work. As everyone prepares to watch the movie, Hiromi tells Kevin how much she enjoyed tonight with him, much to his secret delight.
