"An UnBEElievable Rosh Hashanah" is the second segment of the fifty-second episode of Spidey and his Amazing Friends. It premiered on September 15, 2023 alongside "Go With the Lava Flow" and is the second segment of the twenty-seventh episode of the second season.
Synopsis[]
When Gobby steals all the bees, Team Spidey and The Thing must get them back and save Rosh Hashanah.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Spidey and Spin visiting The Thing's garden, admiring his beehive. Thing tells Spidey and Spin how they produce delicious, sticky honey and how they contribute to the environment. A boy and his father appear and take some honey with them for Rosh Hashanah, a celebration set to start at sundown. As they leave, Thing is nervous. He brings Spidey and Spin inside and show them his shofar, or ram's horn that is blown. He is nervous to blow it during his Rosh Hashana celebration. Back outside, Spidey, Spin, and Thing discover that the bees are swarming all around the city.
After saving a lady's dog, the heroes find Gobby using antennae to lure the bees. He heads for Goblin Island, forcing Team Spidey and Thing to use the Web Crawler to cross the ocean. Upon arrival, they discover that Gobby is using the bees' ability to product honey to make extremely sticky goo. He proceeds to demonstrate by launching goo at the heroes, causing Thing to get stuck to the ground. Even worse, Gobby presents a big blimp full of goo that he plans to dump the entire city with as a prank.
As Gobby leaves for the city on his blimp, Thing has Spidey and Spin make a web ball and fill with honey as he frees himself using palm trees. He tosses the ball at Gobby's blimp, causing it to turn around and crash into the lighthouse. Gobby finds himself stuck in his own goo. Thing then releases all the bees and they fly back to the mainland. The heroes collect the honey inside Gobby's hive. Back at Thing's house, Thing is hosting Rosh Hashana and successfully blows into the shofar as the episode ends.
