Andrea Louise Martin is an American actress, voice actress, comedian, singer, and author of Armenian descent and comedienne. Her Disney roles include Mrs. Stoppable and a nervous singer in Kim Possible, Anda in Brother Bear 2, Lunchlady Harriet in Recess, Mrs. Willoughby in the Goof Troop episode "Goofin' Up the Social Ladder", and Splatter Phoenix in the Darkwing Duck episode "Paint Misbehavin'". She also provided additional voices in Hercules and Timon & Pumbaa. Additionally, she voiced Mrs. Bigby in Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures and Queen Abigail in Elena of Avalor.
Martin was born on January 15, 1947 and graduated from Deering High School in 1965, where she was a member of the Dramatic Club and won Miss Deering High 1965. After graduating from Emerson College, Martin won a role in a touring company of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and later relocated to Toronto, Canada where she found steady work in television, film, and theater; particularly with Second City Television alongside castmates such as John Candy, Rick Moranis, Catherine O'Hara, and Martin Short.
She appeared in a variety of live-action and voice-over production throughout her career. In film, she appeared in both the original and 2006 remake of Black Christmas, Innerspace, Gypsy (1993), Anastasia, Bartok the Magnificent, New York Minute, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, and played Aunt Voula in the My Big Fat Greek Wedding films. Her television credits include Sesame Street, Rugrats, Bobby's World, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Earthworm Jim, The Simpsons, Superman: The Animated Series, George and Martha, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, 30 Rock, Modern Family, Difficult People, Will & Grace, Evil, and Only Murders in the Building.
Martin has also had a successful stage career with productions of Candide, Oklahoma!, Betty's Summer Vacation, Young Frankenstein, Pippin, Noises Off, and My Favorite Year which earned her a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.
