Andy’s Backyard Games is a section of boardwalk games at Shanghai Disneyland Park in Pudong, Shanghai, China. It is located at Disney•Pixar Toy Story Land. It was originally a Toy Story-themed restaurant named Toy Box Cafe, until two booths were closed at an unknown date to be turned into carnival games.
It uses a game voucher system, and you can purchase up to five vouchers for each game. Each voucher costs RMB 30 (30 Chinese Yuan) or $4.21 USD (4 US Dollars & 21 cents).
There are three games, with two of them replacing former booths at Toy Box Cafe. The new games include:
Alien Rocket Launch[1] - Aim a “star blaster” to propel the Aliens higher and higher as they race through space trying to nab some pizza.
Partysaurus Plinko[2] - Drop different colored game coins into one of four 'bathtubs,' trying to land them in the valid slot at the bottom.
Hamm’s Coin Catcher[3] - Try your best to catch a cool coin at a family-friendly game based on the witty & wisecracking piggy bank we know & love.
Trivia[]
The Games have different prize tiers: Third, Second, and First Prize (or Rookie Operator, Elite Navigator, and Legendary Pilot for Alien Rocket Launch), that earn you different items worth RMB 39, 69, & 350 respectively (≈ 5, 10, & 50 USD). My guess is that Socks are Third Prize, Pins are Second, and Large Plushies are first.[4] The requirements to earn different tiers include:
Third Prize: Reach the lowest pizza slice in Alien Rocket Launch, Score on one or no specially marked holes in Partysaurus Plinko, or Catch a coin with a seashell pattern in Hamm’s Coin Catcher.
Second Prize: Reach the middle pizza slice in Alien Rocket Launch, Score on two or three specially marked holes in Partysaurus Plinko, or Catch a coin with a starfish pattern in Hamm’s Coin Catcher.
First Prize: Reach the top pizza slice in Alien Rocket Launch, Score on four or more specially marked holes in Partysaurus Plinko, or Catch a coin with a treasure chest pattern in Hamm’s Coin Catcher.
