Angelina Jolie, GCMG (née Voight), is an American actress, voice actress, screenwriter, director, producer, and humanitarian. She is best known for her roles as Lisa Rowe in the 1999 psychological drama film Girl, Interrupted (which earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress) and Christine Collins in the 2008 mystery drama film Changeling (in which she received a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Actress). She is also well-known for portraying Lara Croft in the original Tomb Raider film duology and voicing Lola and Master Tigress in DreamWorks' Shark Tale and Kung Fu Panda franchise (respectively).
She has also directed, written, and produced several wartime drama films, such as In the Land of Blood and Honey, Unbroken, and First They Killed My Father. Additionally, she is notably a Special Envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
