At some point before the events of the film, Angeline passed away from unknown causes. According to Dr. Po, Artemis Jr.'s psychologist, she was said to be a wonderful woman before she passed away. However, she had no control over young Artemis' behavior.
Angeline Fowl was to appear in the final version of the film. However, every scene that was filmed with Miranda Raison as Angeline was cut from the final version of the film before it was released for unknown reasons, leaving every reference to Angeline be limited to only mentions.
