Tarik Frimpong makes his feature film debut as Angus in the film Mary Poppins Returns. As an Australian actor, singer and dancer based in London, Frimpong was born in Melbourne. Tarik trained from a young age at his mother's performing arts school 'Dance Explosion'. He made his professional theatre debut and gained wide prominence playing the role of 'Young Simba' in Disney's The Lion King.
Angus is first seen during the musical number "Trip a Little Light Fantastic" where he dance alongside a whole chorus line of lamplighters led by Jack. Furthermore, Angus plays an important role towards the end of the film where the Banks family, along with the help from Mary try to stop Mr. Wilkins just as Angus helps Jack stop the Big Ben's hands from striking to twelve midnight to which the plan was successful, foiling Wilkins' plan.
