AnnaSophia Robb is an American actress, singer, and model. She first gained fame in 2005 for playing Inda Opal Baloni in the film adaptation of Because of Winn-Dixie and Violet Beauregarde in Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She also voiced Dani in her episode debut Kindred Spirits. She later gained more recognition for her role as Bethany Hamilton in the 2011 biographical drama film Soul Surfer. Additionally, she played the lead role of Carrie Bradshaw in The CW's series The Carrie Diaries (2013–2014). In 2019, she played the role of Gypsy Rose Blanchard's neighbor Lacey in the Hulu miniseries The Act.

For Disney, she played Leslie Burke in the 2007 family drama film Bridge to Terabithia (also performing the song Keep Your Mind Wide Open), and Sara in the 2009 science fiction film Race to Witch Mountain.
