Anton is a character from Once Upon a Time , played by Jorge Garcia.
Anton is a giant who lived with his family of giants in a kingdom atop a magical beanstalk. He loved humans and was fanscinated by them. He climbed down the beanstalk and reached the kingdom of King George, where he befriended Jack and Prince James, who gave him a magic mushroom so, instead of being giant size, he would simply be three heads taller than everyone. When he went back to his kingdom, he saw that Jack and Prince James betrayed him, leading a siege on the giant kingdom that killed most of Anton's family and friends.
After the first curse, Anton grew to hate humans because of what they did to his fellow giants. As Captain Hook lure him out of his castle, he is knocked out by Emma Swan . They trap him in a cage and ask Anton for his magic compass. Anton, who still doesn't trust humans, refuses, Eventually, he gives Emma the compass since Emma didn't kill him,
Later, he is captured by Cora, given a magic mushroom to shrink him to human size, and taken aboard the Jolly Roger heading towards Storybrooke. Snow White frees him, but he becomes furious when he sees Prince David, who he mistakes for Prince James. After given another magic mushroom by Regina and growing back to giant size, he starts rampaging througfh the town. David offers himself in sacrifice in exchange for the town safety, and Anton agrees, but after the stomps a hole in the ground, the effect of the magic mushroom wears off and he shrinks down to human size. He is rescued by the townspeople there. Seeing everyone go to the trouble to safe his life, his hatred of humans ends and he apologizes to David for his confusion, becoming an ally to the rest of the heroes.
