Antony is a minor antagonist in Disney's 2025 upcoming animated feature film Zootopia 2. He is an anteater crime boss who Nick and Judy are pursuing while going undercover.
Background[]
Physical appearance[]
Antony is a giant anteater with fluffy black fur and grey facial patterns, a bushy tail, and small ears. He has a symmetrical middle-part haircut and a small set of teeth, one of which is adorned with gold. Additionally, he has four-fingered paws with long claws at the tips.
Being a crime boss, Antony wears a red polo shirt with a stereotypical black jacket over it. He is also heavily associated with gold, wearing two gold rings on his right paw and one on the pinkie finger of his left paw. In the final trailer at the cargo dock, he is shown wearing a yellow construction vest, likely trying to go undercover for his criminal mission.
Personality[]
Not much can be made about Antony's personality, but he is shown to be cowardly and quick-thinking, as he immediately flees in his van when Nick and Judy try to stop him in his tracks.
Role in the film[]
Antony appears to have a minimal role in Nick and Judy's testament as partners. He is shown to be near the cargo docks and gets into a van for a business called "Amoose Bouche Catering" before being followed by Nick and Judy in a pig-based hot rod in hot succession.
Later, when his van is crashed, Judy discovers a piece of Gary De'Snake's shedded scales, which could give off the implication that the latter was smuggled into the city by Antony. Said scales also act as potential evidence for the ZPD to deduce that Gary is sneaking into the Lynxley Manor in Tundratown to steal the book to the climate walls in Zootopia.

- His name, Antony, is a reference towards his species, an anteater and the name "Anthony".
- Anteaters do not have teeth in real life.
- Antony is the second xenarthran voiced by John Leguizamo, and the first is Sid the sloth from Ice Age franchise.
