Are We Nut Enough? is the third segment of the nineteenth episode from Disney and Xilam's Chip 'n' Dale: Park Life series.

Plot[]

Chip and Dale do the same routine every day: wake up in the morning and look out their tree hole, do morning exercises, gather nuts, clean their home and then go to bed at the end of the day. While Chip is always enthusiastic about this daily ritual (even to the point of being obsessed about it), Dale gets increasingly tired of it and eventually tries to propose several new ideas to Chip to shake things up.

During the morning exercises, he suggests taking karate lessons with the moles, but gets laughed at by Chip who insists that they continue exercising. While gathering nuts, Dale suggests trying to pick berries instead but Chip again rejects the suggestion. During cleaning, Dale sees a rabbit and a bird rolling down a hill inside a pair of roller skates and asks Chip if they can try that as it looks fun, but Chip nervously refuses as it looks too dangerous. Depressed, Dale goes to bed early and refuses to do the routines the next morning, asking Chip to go on without him and to close the blinds before he leaves.

Dale misses dinner and spends the next few days in a depressed funk, wandering through their treehouse and avoiding Chip. Dale eventually secludes himself in their bedroom, growing pale and tired and watching internet videos all day. Realizing something is very wrong, Chip encourages Dale to get out of bed. He surprises him with berries for breakfast, which snaps Dale out of his funk and he joyfully eats them, though Chip doesn’t like berries but tries to eat them for Dale’s sake.

Chip then tries to do all the things Dale wants to do, but he doesn’t enjoy them at all. This includes the karate lessons, the roller skate ride down the hill, sumo wrestling, parasailing and finally, evening karaoke. Chip has enough of Dale’s antics and sadly decides that the two need to break up their friendship. Dale moves out into a new tree house leaving Chip alone in an empty tree.

The two are miserable without each other and eventually one day at the diner, Chip and Dale run into each other. After awkward silence and failed attempts at conversations, the two try to make up by ordering berries and acorns but their inability to pick one makes the waitress angry and she throws them out. The two have a laugh about it and make up, hugging each other.
